If you are willing to ship them, Top Gun here in Calgary does very nice work, let me know if you want some pics of my pipes.

Call Hugh or Larry at Top Gun Coatings in Calgary. They've been doing it for decades and their prices are very reasonable with top quality results. Used them many many times and never a poor result or bill I wasn't happy with.

OK I will post pics later tonight or on the weekend.

You should be looking for even coating, no missed spots, even surface finish, no cracks. Top Gun cleans and coats the inside of the pipes as well, not just the outside, if your coater does this make sure that it actually happens, not just the first 6 inches of each end to make it look like it was done

The difference in the end will be the result of the prep work the company performs prior to coasting it, the quality of the finish, and whether or not the pipe discolors after use. Poor prep = poor results and discoloration after use.

That's what you should be watching for. :d

Sorry, sled is on the lift and so I couldn't get the hood off to take some really good pics, I know I have some better ones at home, will look tonight.
They are kinda dusty but I hope it shows the surface and how even they should look.

The jury is still out if ceramic coating is beneficial for performance purposes but I cant say for sure. Any opinions?
