Anyone have any experience with cerakote snowmobile parts? I was thinking of doing my oil tank on the sidewinder since I’ll have it apart. I hate the tarnish metal look. Lol.
I used used Dead Sky Customs in 2017 for a bunch of parts on my motocross bike. Has held up great over the years, even the parts that get a lot of rubbing from my boots.
I think anodizing is good if you have a new piece. Cerakote does require an aluminum oxide blasting etch. It’s more like powder coating. Looks pretty durable.
