Central Alberta storm(s)

Tornado watch right now in Red Deer....just passed over us in Penhold. Got some loonie-sized hail and crammed both vehicles into the garage (with two quads and a sled....friggin' toys). Here's a pic of the wall cloud about a 1/2 hr ago....I drove south of town towards the storm....this is looking towards Innisfail from just north.

Looks pretty vicious! I've been watching the radar tonight, Red Deer, Whitecourt, Edson and Fox Creek are under some pretty crazy storms right now! I hope no tornadoes come out of it!

Edson got an hour of heavy rain; very little hail. There will be flooded basements. Hope everyone else makes out as well.

Just got a call from my bud Pecos just west of Red Deer....he got apricot-sized hail. Figures the roof on his holiday trailer is toast and his vehicles aren't lookin so smooth any more....

There were some nasty clouds above my house in Red Deer but nothing came from it. Just passed on by with some heavy rain. I love watching those storms roll in.

I love watching those storms rolling in on TV somewhere else. Nobody wants these type of storms rolling in on them.

Its getting windy here in okotoks to the south of calgary and looking like something is on its way .
