No kidding ! WTF is up with that? I just about had to pull over and put one of the wife’s bras on! I’d loose my mind driving that every day

It's awful and never get use to it. It's bad in a pickup, but anytime i'm on south/west leg of the henday in the semi I want to punch whoever designed that fawking road in the face so fawking hard. Or let them lay down on the road so it would be smoother. I'm waiting for the unfortunate day there is a bad accident because a semi looses control, or breaks something and it causes an accident. Some stretches my max is 70-80 loaded, it's just too dahm rough.

when the truck was cvip’d did you bring the trailer in to be done at the same time? If so I would love to know what facility passed the truck without the brake controller installed knowing that you were dragging it around behind your truck. If you were to bring the truck in alone it would be very easy to believe that it passed without the controller because a brake controller is not a cvip requirement. All of my techs would suspect you to be pulling an air brake trailer and would not question the lack of controller unless they actually saw you pinned to an electric brake unit.


So you know more then a CVIP shop? What are your qualifications?

It is really good of you to reduce speed when running fully loaded without proper functioning trailer brakes - way to go buddy!

And the sad part about CVIP's is there is very little requirements, it's up to the shops discretion what is safety and what isn't which is totally retarded. I had a shop a few years ago call me on the rams for the ramps being worn out and putting up the ramps slow and had to tell them don't touch them, as long as they are secured to the trailer nothing else about them is any of your concern.

I was unaware there was a law against owning multiple trailers?

Empty....no doubt......and if it's true while having it loaded with the skid steer or mini hoe, then don't worry about it.....

Just waiting on the tires. The shop set up the wrong wheels. I ordered galvanized to match the trailer and got plain white. Have to wait till tomorrow for the right set

Yeah, Slipper or Flipper springs, depending who you talk to I guess. The bolts are worn in about 1/8". I'll be changing them with the new tires.
