It's awful and never get use to it. It's bad in a pickup, but anytime i'm on south/west leg of the henday in the semi I want to punch whoever designed that fawking road in the face so fawking hard. Or let them lay down on the road so it would be smoother. I'm waiting for the unfortunate day there is a bad accident because a semi looses control, or breaks something and it causes an accident. Some stretches my max is 70-80 loaded, it's just too dahm rough.

It is really good of you to reduce speed when running fully loaded without proper functioning trailer brakes - way to go buddy!

when the truck was cvip’d did you bring the trailer in to be done at the same time? If so I would love to know what facility passed the truck without the brake controller installed knowing that you were dragging it around behind your truck. If you were to bring the truck in alone it would be very easy to believe that it passed without the controller because a brake controller is not a cvip requirement. All of my techs would suspect you to be pulling an air brake trailer and would not question the lack of controller unless they actually saw you pinned to an electric brake unit.

Not at the same time, trailer went in first. But the trailers on air, no brake controller required.
You could find a shop willing to do so easily. The shop who inspected it last year would pass anything. Absolute joke of a shop who needs their license pulled. And the sad part about CVIP's is there is very little requirements, it's up to the shops discretion what is safety and what isn't which is totally retarded. I had a shop a few years ago call me on the rams for the ramps being worn out and putting up the ramps slow and had to tell them don't touch them, as long as they are secured to the trailer nothing else about them is any of your concern.

Trailer brakes are overrated.......
I've ran my dump truck with my light trailer for years without putting a brake controller in, i'm lazy. It's not legal but i'm not concerned about pulling my skidsteer or mini hoe behind a tandem without brakes unless it's icy. It could haul it in the box, the truck stops it fine.

I was unaware there was a law against owning multiple trailers?
If it isn't legal, provide the proof. Because I looked it up and know the electric trailer I pull behind my dump truck is legal without a brake controller considering what it weighs.
