Sure does not help when a long time local who used to even own a shop here in town guides dudes into the closures, they did get caught and fined a whopping 250$ ! Big f'n deal! Should call him out but it's just BS, and the fine? What a joke! Is he even licensed to guide? Oh he was taking his good buddies out, ya right! Some other guys were sitting on the edge of the closure when the MOE talked to them, they asked how much the fine was and when he told them was asked if he took cash! Should be like hunting and fishing, take the machine, big fines not a slap on the wrist. JMO
something has to change.

That is sad to hear. You would think someone who has benefited from the sport in Revy over the years would have a better head on there shoulders. I guess you just can't fix stupid...

we were in Sale in March and sitting at the tower you could see all kinds of tracks off in the distance in the closure and a couple right below the tower. It looks like a great riding area, but the greenies dont need an excuse to close areas so this only adds credence to thier lies and make believe world. If we had of caught anyone coming out we would have given them more than a WTF....

in central bc we are seeing people outside the boundaries as well but it is hard not to go in these places when you see no restrictions placed on the heli skiing out fits. the amount of land set a side for caribou is way out of balance. we sled in moose area deer area no problem. we have sled in caribou area for years and they are still in these area's. a lot of the guys in the this area grew up in this area and some area's that are closed have never had a caribou walk on them. the people behind the closures are not being honest about the numbers which causes problems in thinking that these closures will really help the caribou. Don't get me wrong a closure is a closure but we have to think of people that rode these area's for 30 years change does not come easy.
