I have never tuned mine on, but I did read here somewhere that -20 was he temp.

One time my buddy turned them on as a prank. Shut off the sled, hot carbs boiled dry and it took what seemed like fifty pulls to get it running again.

never use them brp put them on to cover their a-- if the slides should freeze for lawsuit

They work good when your riding at 30 below. Friends sled didn't have heated carbs and froze up mine kept going and towed him back!

Only used then a couple of times, more of a high humidity condition than just low temps.

Way back in 2002 when I had my last Skidoo they got turned on by??????no one ever admitted to it, but they caused me nothing but problems for 3 rides till I figured out they were on.

according to brp you are supposed to use it from +2 to -3 c when you will have a problem with freezing and humidity it is so the slides don't freeze and won't go back to idle at -20 and -30 you should not have a problem with humidity
