Not sarcastic, I really am pumped, still riding now but looking forward to fresh pow lines early next season on the 850. I'm sure all the FACKING whiners will chime in on this post LOL but hey if it wasn't here it'd be in the 850 problems thread. I had to laugh, found my self on the Yamaha threads which I've never read before, reading about old apex builds cause i was tired of hearing the same **** from the same guys over and over again. You'd think they would get bored and maybe take up knitting or something but hey everyone needs to feel important bahahha

In them hills.
I can't wait to see if you are still this amped about the sled by the end of the season.

And I hope you are.

Thanks for being apart of the 2018 skidoo research team.

There u go again with the negativity. The guy is posting that he is pumped about his new ride for next season and u can't help yourself from driving him down for buying a Doo. Stop being poopy pants and move on.

I've been mtn trashin for a few years and I'm happy to see a guy excited to trash away. Be safe and ride the chit out of the 850... I plan to do the same... I'm moving on up in age but it sure is fun to get out and try and keep up with the young guys... wink wink nudge nudge

I don't know of any single person in my group of friends (or internet folklore) who had more problems with their sled than I did with mine.

And I'm not counting every single belt... I just count "belts" as one issue which turned out to be the least of my concerns as the season went on.

Guess what, I snowchecked an 18, and I'm stoked for it ... I'm 100% sure it'll be better than my 17.

I worked with BRP and my dealer, voiced my concerns and got the support I needed to snowcheck an 18.

We still have 15' of snow, so yeah I'm still riding the thing (with my tow rope in my backpack lol)

I held off on checking a 2017 because i thought there would be bugs. Now myself and 2 friends each have 2018s on order. I'm still going to vent the hell out of the thing and add bracing but I'd do that on any sled just because. If you keep holding off in order to get the improvements then you'll never buy a sled. Each year will continue to get better.

Can't wait to get that new rig on the go next year

My crowd was lucky with 17's and the only downside to their sleds was possible new face wrinkles because they were smiling so much

Summer is to get Ready!

Very excited! Summer will be about getting ready with SHR High/Low Elevation clutch kits, C&T Clutch Tools and new CanDoo licenses. No need to worry about EPA clutching over here. Adjust to 7800-7900 rpm and enjoy the sport!

Previous was t3 163 x 16. Snowchecked a in season all black 165. My buddy up till this year had always rode a pro I convinced him to buy a doo so he got a 17 850 and he spanked me all year lol next year it'll be an even playing field

What's all the red below the Member progress Daagg44?????????

Just quietly leave us western mountain riders alone whether it be quads or sleds. We don't appreciate the east telling us what to doo.

Re: Summer is to get Ready!

I'm excited to get one. Probably won't give up my T Axys until I'm sure the 850 is the right sled for me, but the prospect of a stock sled is appealing. Having a young family makes it difficult to find the time and money to continue to play the Turbo game. Maybe I will work on putting the rider through a fitness program rather than the sled!

Good plan Aaron! You've had some bad luck the last couple years.
