Canoe Mountain from the Summit River lodge

I am heading down to Vale on Tuesday and staying at the Summit River lodge, looking to ride from the lodge on Wednesday to canoe moutain, I was never there before so if anyone got any advice or info it would be greatly appreciated

technically illegal as you have to cross the highway and Im not sure of the lower ROW conditions. Best to discuss this with the owners

Its ugly and rocky up there. Just sayin lol. Lots of dangerous 6000ft cliffs too.

I agree with maxwell. Rode there years ago when we first started riding the mountains. Someone always seemed to damage their sled there.

Canoe Mountain is one big rock at the north end of the Monashee Range. Once you are into the alpine there is not a lot of protection so if you don't drive off a cliff the wind will likley blow you off. Best to save that one for a quad trip on a sunny, calm day in the summer.
