Well it isnt a Jet Boat Race, there isnt a golf course for fifty miles but hey I thought it was pretty interesting and it was a great day of quading. This is the brazeau Power House located about 25 kilometres down the spillway from the Brazeau Dam.Dont know the specs but it creates a pile of power!

Have not been there for about 6 years. We where on top of the dam looking down. There used to be a big information board in the general area of the powerhouse. Looks like you had a good sized group and co-operative weather:)

We were at the site of the Snow and Mud campout area. Very busy but trails were great. Did some exploring to find some trails for the riders coming up. Hey catmando you better put your prowler on a get thin program fast as some of those trails are getting skinny. Great weather and will try to get some pics from my daughters camera. Cant wait for the big event

We golfed Kanaknaskis Saturday, not as warm as we hoped for but not too bad. Sunday and Monday we were in the water all day and I have the sunburn to prove it.
AWESOME LONG WEEKEND!!!

AWESOME LONG WEEKEND!!!

I have to agree, it was an awesome long weekend, Saturday was a little cooler than expected, and was mighty windy to be sitting on the side of Highway 44 changing the tire on my trailer (stupid thing blew out on my way up to the lake) luckily I had the spare, with storm clouds looming overhead I had that sucker changed in 20 minutes. Looks like I got something through the inside sidewall of the tire. Other than that, got lots of sun on Sunday and Monday, had a great fireworks show Sunday night, and had lots of good cold beer. Can't wait till my holidays!

Just posted my pics from our July Long weekend. They are in my photo gallery. We went SW of Rocky, past Praire Creek. Lots of camping, but very few quads in the bush. I need many weekends to check this area out.
