Wondering what is the benifit of a CAN other than the noise how much extra HP will i gain? Is it worthwhile? Can i just slap it on or is there clutching or tweeking involved. I own a 2008 summit xp...

There is no HP gain, but with a crap can you can lose HP. What you are gaining it a weight loss. And no you shouldn't have to doa ny clutching or tweeking at all.

MBRP all the way i have one on my 02 summit and dad has one on his 06 RMK both sound awesome nice rumble at idle and at about 5 or 6 RPM they just screem.
MBRP used to have charts on there web sight but there gone now i know i lost 16 pounds and gained 2 HP.
dad lost 20 pounds and gained 5 HP.
all depends on witch models there are for you sled there are three trail, standard and race.
i run the race at idle it pretty loud cant here and one even if there yelling. standard has a rilly nice rumble. even the trails are pretty loud i here.

You're not gonna gain any HP with a can. a tuned pipe maybe, but the weight savings and the noise are what typically draw people to the cans.
O.K. maybe it adds a little MENTAL HP
it also makes it easier to fit the happy gas bottle under the hood:cool:

For an xp I would reccomend a hps can. They sound great and require no clutching/jetting. All of the CLUTCHED guys run hps. Look them up on youtube.
