Played ladder golf or horse balls, and washoes...whats kick the can? We have gloves in our trailer and just play catch or badminton bat the bird back and forth....or if we have a large group and lots of grass play botche with 2 sets of balls

Its hid and seek , but its a race back to the starting point and who ever gets back first and kicks the can wins , play at night , if you have enough room kids will play all night

Kick the can, we played that as kids almost every night in the Grove growing up. We used to run through everyones yards. Do that now a days you would get in trouble. Don't ever really see kids out playing any more, ahh the good old days, the 70's.
As for games camping, only have one kid with us so it is badminton, or catch.

Games? Well lets see now, theres beer, then another, then another,then switchin to rye .... you know the song, wine with dinner, then back to beer!!!

It's definitely a game you can play with one hand already occupied by a beer.

I forgot about beer darts too, that one is alot of fun but definitely not with little kids running around.

shootin things with the pellet gun,,cans,accorns,whatever,,but nothing alive.sling shot is always a favorite..funny the more beer cans you aquire to shoot at ..seems the aim gets worse.mmm must be sumthing wrong with this gun

First Beer and clam, and then Beer and more beer, and a game or two of washers,afternoon caesars and more beer and more washers, night beer well bbq or cleaning the fish and then whiskey or vodak and cards at night usally crib.

I'm not really sure what the name of it is so I'll call it "hitting the nail into the log" I used to play it in some of the ski hill bars in BC like Snowshoe Sams in Big White and a bar in Nelson has it too. I've adapted it to the campsite.

It goes like this:

Everyone gets a piece of a log cut with a chainsaw about 20" long

Stand it up between your legs as your sitting there in your chair

Everyone gets a nail (2.5 or 3")

You need a shingle hammer with a point on one end

Everyone gets to "place" their nail with a couple taps

Hold beer in one hand and hammer in the other

With one arm only and one swing only, try to hit nail on the head with the pointy end

Pass the hammer to the person next to you, goes 'round til you sink it and your safe

Last person with the nail head showing pours a round of shooters

That's it, passes the time
