Camping between Edmonton and Calgary.

Looking for a relaxing place just to hang out. Perferably with a lake so the kiddlets can have some fun or even along side a river. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Not to far off QEII would be good.

Aspen Beach Provincial Park

The first Provincial Park declared in Alberta. With a wide and shallow sand beach and warm water, it is perfect for paddling, sun bathing and swimming.

all my younger years were spent camping at Aspen Beach in the Brewers campground... Miss going there, might have to go back!

If you get a chance to talk to the campground manager (Justin) bring up sledding and you'll have a friend in management. Tell him Kelly (99summitX) plans on first ride Nov 14 whiles he's in Mexico and see what kind of reaction you get:d
