Looking for some info on camping around the Calgary area. I need to pull the trailer down to pick up some parts from a guy down there.
Figured we'd spend the weekend. Just not sure what's decent to stay at.

We don't need power or hook ups. As long as they have fire pits and allow dogs. And fairly close to the city so the wife's mom and sister can drive out for a bit.

Thanks

Okotoks has one right in town on the river. Nice spot close to the city with out dealing with the city. Mclean is good to!

Spring hills is just north of cochrane and really nice. It is a full service campground but has a nice big area for the dogs to run around. I love McLean creek but that's significantly further from town.

Aspen Crossing is just to the SE of Calgary. Not sure if Symons Valley still has camping, NW corner of town.
