Funny, the techs from Camoplast at the sled show had no idea why people are coming up to them asking about the 3"x16x156 track... They said if something was coming into production, they were the first to know about it. As far as they know, there is no such track in production.

What do you think the deal is with that?

i heard the same thing. found that very odd.

Im sure its coming they wouldnt be taking orders if it wasent last I checked camoplast waasent a fly by night kind of company. As far as the belt drive I have 1000miles on mine and been top notch would never go back to chain drive after running C3 beltdrive.

why does nobody know about this track... Its not listed anywhere or anything...

Just talked to Curtis- Tracks Canada, He said the reps at the show had no clue until they finally phoned in and found out there is a 156x16x3" in the works. The reps then told Curtis shipping Nov.5-2011, However they weren't Exactly Confident on this Date!

The only time I ever seen a 3" not dominate is in the spring in the wet heavy snow or the trail up lol. For climbing its a total mountain goat if you go with the drop and roll chaincase it moves the driveshaft down and back and smooths out the front of that track lots (approach angle? is what I am trying to say?) it just tractors around. With proper suspension set up you can control that front end.

Curtis pm'd me yesterday, camo told him no word on delivery yet. See my email below from camo yesterday.

Hello Scott,
Thank you for your interest in Camoplast Snow Tracks!
We are considering a 16”x156” with 3” drive pitch and 3” lug height with availability in December.
Best regards,
Bruce
