good idea Dusty, all it takes is a cool venue and it's on, we will support it for sure. There are lots of empty car dealerships out there in Cow town on of those would be a great venue as they have massive parking lots for "stuntmen". I also like the MaxBell center for stuff like that, the ski patrol put on their used ski swap there and it's aways packed...

Yea know Lucas it's a great idea, went to your deal on friday night it was great, went to walt's saturday night, (thinking outside the box) awesome fun night. My observation from being the old guy on the block, is that years ago, people HAD to go to there local dealer, and they built up there following on reputation and knowledge, or you read the local paper. Now it's social media or internet supposively and yet you talk to sledders and they didn't know nothing about certain things. Which leads me to believe espescially here in calgary, most guys are way to busy to go on to the internet to see what's going on or if there's no deals to be had screw it. Just my opinion and now i must sign off and get to work. Hopefully some of the young new blood will pick up the torch for the cause and run with it, cause i have arthritis and I'm burnout!

And one more thing to think about and only the oldsters like sledderglen will know, many years ago in the fight for sled areas we tried to distant ourselves from the atv's or tracked vehicles and went with the no tracks left behind mentality. Now we're in bed together, and now the edmonton show is a sled, atv and off-road show which in my opinion isn't helping out the sledders. jmo

Why don't you guys all rent a big bus and c'mon up to edmonchuk for the sledshow.......... You can drink on the bus, and party hardy all the way here and back ........... Just a suggestion. Looks like you guys are gettin' something going in the meantime, so i just thought i'd throw that out there....... Good luck guys
