Seen them on a website from swededn or norway... one or the other. They looked great for sleds with reverse. They also had replaceable tips. I sent them an email asking where I could buy them here or the US and never got a response.

Did some searching and found these
They're not the same as the ones I seen last year. The ones I had found last year mounted near the bottom of the belly pan. I'll check my favourites at work, I may have bookmarked it there.

Catman, Catman, Catman you didn't learn already in the dirt???? Your still wipin the dust from your goggles from the Rhino race??? We will see you BEHIND me on the hill this year once again but this time I'll go easier on ya you will be able to see in front of you due to the smooth clean operation of a 4 stroke.:lol2:

I did find these in snowest magazine Oct issue. They look like they work slick, I am in the process of ordering a few to try them out. Here is the link for anyone that might want some.

Update, Betweenthelines e-mailed me back to say that Ken at Specialty sled is now the Canadian distributor for them. Anyone who wants can buy them through them I guess.

Wonder how long the sidekicks at $70+ a set will last and possibly damage the track ? The ones I made from 1/4" steel cable will only last 700 to 1000 miles. My pictures show the frayed one with 1300 miles, it beat the bottom of my wifes sled up pretty good.

:D I installed a set of these scratchers and ran them last weekend in Mcbride, they worked great and were simple to install. My buddy installed a set on his M8 and I watched as he was traveling down the trail and they sure kick it up, good pressure to the ground. I thought when I installed them they might pop out of the kinda hokey eyelet holder but they held great. They are a little pricey but I think they are great quality and should last a long time. I will post pics as soon as I have a chance..:D

I ran them on my XPs all last year, work great and so far show no real signs of wear. Just remember to tuck them away before you drive up the deckloader ramp, the noise they make going over each crossbar is scary:eek:
