Buying quad tomoorw....tires>?

so i sold my bike and im buying a 05 brute 750 tomoorw it has a chip and custom
exhaust it has some itp rims on it with 27" mudlites but i wanna get rid of the tires asap and get some bigger more agessive ones what size can i fit at stock height i hear u can fit bigger tires on the 05s then the newr ones im thinking either 28" sillverbacks or 29.5" outlaws or possibly thirtys if i got the right price for the tires and rims seeming that i would ned a 14" rim any suggestion clutching fine or need differnt?

oh my god kid! you want to slap big,big tires on that 05... i hope you have lots of money to fix alot... thats all im sayin...

with big meats like that you will need some clutch work too.

Yep! What Mark said. You can have tons of fun with a 27" tire like his Renegade. I know of that first hand!

But if you want to slap some big rubber on that Brute your gonna need (for '30s) a clutch kit and use the stiffest springs, lift, and spacers, and your gonna need some good CV's and axels.

i have 25's bighorn 1.0's not 27's Shaun... and i still do ok, when im fender deep, some of the time... they measure more like a true 26 inch's off the ground...

If you get a good run you can let everyone else deal with the problem that is a mud hole. For that thing its just another water skimming puddle haha

If you got a god paying job I wouldn't settle for used tires.

You might not get your parts as soon as you like but you'll have more life left with a set of new tires.

I'm saving my cash to do all the mods at once. I could buy my tires and wheels right now, but what good is that when I got to wait until 2 weeks from now to buy my clutch kit?

Give yourself a month to save up and you should be able to buy all of your mods at once. Just be sure to keep a little left over in your bank incase you break and axle!

talk at the quad god tex 78 he has 30's on a cowasicki, he has no idea why he had 2 broken axles in 2 weeks. he fiqures it's the rider. although a poopoo went through the same spot. tex says he hit a rock? i'm thinkin he turned the tires al little to fast and boom. anyway why settle for 30's can't you find something bigger? size matters.:p

Had 31 Outlaws on my 800 Sportsman and didn't enjoy them at all. Trail riding was one hell of a work out. Sold them (almost with brand new tread)and went with 28 Outlaws, much easier riding and still unstoppable in mud, skeg, and snow. If you had a bike with power-steering it might be different but on a stock quad way to big and heavy.

Uhh don't listen to this.. I've been taught to do one thing at a time and make sure it works. Then progress into the next etc. Not just slap some sh** together and hope it works.

Especially something like a quad that breaks peices often and needs that sweet spot found where you stop breaking parts cause you've beefed up the right parts and get to ride more.

Of corse not... Sorry I got some bad intel... Go ahead and put on your 30" tires and forget about the clutch kit. Only worry about that after it breaks and leaves you stranded.

Oh, lifts... That can wait too. Make sure you scrape your tires on your plastic first.

And cv's... I forgot... Let em stay stock until they snap as well.

And if you get an aftermarket exhaust. Hold off on the powercommander or jet kit until your motor blows..... Makes perfect sense.

That's just silly talk. Instead of slapping on the tires first, put all the other stuff on, then your tires on last. Make sure everything works.
