Plastic brackets don't cut it doo they?

I had mine for the trip up to the cabin, then I packed what was left of them down the hill at the end of the day. The doo ones don't last with those plastic brackets. They have the neoprene ones, but I don't like the looks of them.

The skinz handguards work well. Put them on for the ride up the trail and take them off and stow them in your pack when you getup to the alpine.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, I have had these hand guards for 3 years on this sled and they are still solid. Trust me this thing was rolled out a million times being a 146".

Secret is to leave the clamps loose. Although I will not be putting them on the new xm....just for looks.
