200 off is not a bad start!!!! The sled mark up is not like vehicles, if your expecting 500+ off. For a 2014, I very much doubt that will happen!!!

I did some pretty serious searching and the best price I found was 13,500 (13,050 pull start) incl freight, pdi, and they said they would throw some goodies in. I found the dealers - in BC at least - vary form 0 - 1000 bucks for freight and pdi etc so watch that.

lol have fun not riding an xm this season. No dealer will move much on price if any. Some dealers vary in price so shopping around is the best option. The fact that you found an x model that's available is pretty amazing. I bet that salesman will be laughing at you when he sells it for full pop. Should take that 200$ off lol

I'm sure the salesman would have forgot about him before he had walked out of the store. I didn't read that it was an X model which I thought were only available for snowcheck, which if that were the case would mean someone was unable to take there's and I'm sure there is a list of guys wanting them from the fellas that have to bail on their snowcheck, at least I know it's like that here. Should have taken the 200.00 off.

Like said already, at this time of year, nobody is going to being giving away a 2014. Just start calling dealers and see what you find.
When i was shopping, the prices seemed to be fairly close, but some dealers threw in extras, or didn't charge for PDI, etc.
Also consider if you need service, buying from a dealer that's close by, sure comes in handy. And if you need to drive 500 miles to save a couple hundred bucks, did you really save.
Just some other things to ponder over.

Considering the popularity of the new doo (most dealers sold out of them before the season was over last year) - I expect you will be paying MSRP (maybe with a couple freebies thrown in), or you will be riding a used sled or other brand this season. It's not unheard of to see untaken snow checks (x models) sell for above MSRP in the fall / early winter. It is a supply and demand market, and the price reflects the demand. Something else to consider: If you don't support your local dealer and they close there doors, where are you going to get service if needed? Fuel costs of driving back & forth to the next closest dealer will eat up whatever you save pretty quickly, and I'm pretty sure a machine bought elsewhere won't be first in line for service...The riding season is short enough - even shorter if your machine is sitting in the dealer's shop for 3-4 weeks in the middle of the season. Food for thought.

ok the SP isnt a spring check model so might be able to get a bit off the price but not sure..

if you do mountain riding they will break off the first ride out from rolling. but if you do mostly ditch and trail riding they would be fine
