There was quite a few updates but they were a good sled. Check with Martins to make sure they are done which I'm sure they have been. Deal with Trent (T Team on this site) He will treat you right on it.

Seems pretty high for an 08 to me. If you shop around I think you will find one cheaper than that.

My brother has an 09 154 for sale with the S-36 front end kit, SHR clutching, NPP can, new top end, RPG scissor bracket, with 1200 miles on it for 7000.

Unless the dealer is going to warranty it for at least a year or give you some sort of service deal or the sled is real low km and super clean cause 8000 for a 5 year old sled is pretty high. Look around more you got time till the snow hits you will definitely find a better deal

Ya 8G's is way too much for an 08, considering a new summit sport is $9,800

Wayyyy too much $$$$$ I also seen on kijiji that martins has a 2009 an 09 summit hillclimb with 430km and they want $10,049 Thats unreal when you can get a 2011-2012 for less than that.

You can find them cheaper for sure. I have an '08 Summit X I'm going to be putting up fore sale this weekend with tons of extras, new motor, updates done, yadda yadda yadda. It'll be somewhere around $6500.

You can get the same 2013XP with a p-tec for just under $10,000 OTD.

i guess at the end of the day we should think about this:

1. dealer has to make money too, right? Probably gave the guy like $6000 for it, so they want to make a profit
2. if your buying used and dont have the CASH to pay for it, the dealer will finance this sled for the customer. Where as it might be cheaper on Kijiji, there is no finance option (short of going to your stupid bank .... sorry .... hate banks!! LOL!)

maybe if you spring ordered one, but going in and walking out for under $10k would be a pipe dream when they are listed $ 9800 PLUS freight, PDI, assembly and at least one tax (2 here in SK)
even if your dealer doesnt charge you the freight PDI assembly, its still $10,300 OTD

don't disagree with you
but A LOT of what they do daily is crooked IMO (in my industry anyways, they are direct competition .... some of the chit they do makes me shae my head)
but hey, we all have to deal with them

I just went in and paid $9995.00 out the door for a 2013 which should be in the next couple of weeks...Need to find a better dealer.

Even @ $10500 your getting a sled 5 yrs newer with 2yrs of warranty for $2500 more... Well worth it to me.
