Anybody else have tunnel issues? Broke on both sides just ahead of the drop brackets. Not sure how or when it happened, stopped to dump the Jerry in and buddy pointed it out. I'm not a big jump or cliff drop kinda guy either. Limped it back to Grizzly lodge but still have to get to the truck in the am, fingers crossed.

Can't upload pics at the moment but it's crippled real bad to the point the running boards broke as well, gonna have to swallow the pride and beat up an Axis rental for the day.

Yup, they're racers edge brackets though, but thicker than stock

Similar thing happened to a buddy of mine, riding along and both drop brackets broke.
Nothing abusive about it.

I wonder if your drop brackets weren't too strong for the tunnel.....

Riding along and both brackets broke? Mmmmkay.
Say what you will.

But if you look closely the left bracket pulled off. Broke right where the rivets go through.

And then the right one broke cause it couldn't handle the entire load.

Better get ahold of Darrel, he has many of them out there if he needs no change his design.. Could be a costly mistake

I believe it, neither I nor anyone in my group can think of anything that would have caused mine to break

Hit fence, torn first one off, never noticed, ripped second one off from too much load...
Poopy deal either way

Are you just running the baker drop brackets or his rear arm too? Maybe coupling the skid puts too much load on that point?

Yes I am running the baker rear arm with B-motion and his drop brackets. What you're hinting at is exactly what I'm afraid doo is going to say as well. Still waiting for the word back, might have to call Darryl and quiz him up as well.

Did you put on the tunnel stiffeners that go with the uncoupling setup? Is darryl offering them on the gen 4? I know on the xms it comes with the kit.

So what was bakers thought, were the stiffeners used? How much tension on rear shock, did rivets break out or the drop brackets crack?? Would like to know before using them on mine
