Mine was bought in 2010 and has no cracking or anything. Doesn’t have lots of miles either. When you go over a set or rail road tracks or frost heave the trailer doesn’t even wiggle. Works real good.

I’ve towed this thing all over AB and B.C. Tows great no sway at all with a good WD hitch setup. Just haul a quad and dirt bike in the garage with no issues. Only a 10foot garage though.Wanted to eventually get a X3 but it would never fit so the plan is for a highlifter Rzr which will fit if I take the front bumper off and relocate the winch

OP if sway is truly a concern a good WD hitch will help. Reese,Blue Ox are some of the better ones I have heard of. Tongue weight is key with sway. Toy haulers tend to be heavier on the tongue empty than normal trailers due to weight of toys usually behind the axles. Also depends on location of your water tanks. IIRC tongue weight should be 10-12% of trailer weight to avoid sway.
But if you want to eliminate it all together you can always spring for a Hensley Arrow or ProPride 3P hitch. Pricey but works great.
I have a 30' Evergreen Amped. Great trailer but notorious for sway. Can drive it using the 3P hitch with one finger on the wheel, if you were so inclined.
But with any trailer a good tongue weigh scale and actually weighing your trailer at a CAT scale will let you know where you sit for sure.

BIL had a bumper pull toy hauler. Pulling with a F350 SRW shortbox. With his Ranger in the trailer he could barely keep the thing on the road. Actually got reported as a drunk driver. The weight distribution on that trailer was brutal. I think the water tanks were too far back. That balanced it OK with no toys in the back but not good once loaded up. I think that you want to check tongue weight with no toys and make sure it is heavy. Easier to deal with that with a hitch than being too light.

My brother just sold his Puma toy hauler cause of this. With his sxs in the back he said it was scary. Tried a couple of different hitch set ups with not much luck. My trailer the axles are far back and it pulls better with the sxs in it. That’s the difference between a cheap made slapped together trailer vs a quality well thought out trailer.

My water tanks are over the axles which are so close together I don't think I could put a bigger tire on if I wanted and other than the bunks and my 45 gal fuel tank I have nothing behind the axles but the machines. Part of which sit over or at the rear axle. Generator, kitchen and everything else is forward. Pulls no problem loaded with 1500lbs of machine or empty. Pulls better loaded even maybe. Guess I got lucky.
Trailer is 10 years old now and still is in good shape considering the miles I've put on both on pavement and gravel.

Does anybody own or have any experience with the Outback 324CG Toy Hauler? It's the style that has a loading door on the side at the front of the trailer. I'm wondering how they pull when the "garage" part is empty?
So apparently I was the last one to comment on the thread almost 2 years ago but I'm going to try again. Ok so ignore the question above I am now looking at a 2015 Dutchmen Rubicon 2900 bumper pull toy hauler. I have a couple question about toy haulers first does anybody know if a 2013 RZR 800 s with a 2 inch lift will fit ( height and length ) in a 10' garage with 2 beds raised? Also has anybody changed the furniture in a trailer? The trailer we are looking at has just the long couch we are wanting to change it a u shaped dinette and possibly a 2 seat sofa if there is room. I don't own the RZR or trailer yet just looking into different options thanks.

Will the ranger fit in your box?
Not sure if a RZR would fit in the box of a truck, the 800s is 60" wide I believe. I do have a 8' box on my truck but I also have 3 dirt bikes we bring out with us. I was planning to have the bikes in the box of the truck and the RZR in the trailer.

a standard RZR would fit in the bed of a truck but not the S.
I had a buddy fit his 800 razor in the back of his fairly tight bumper pull toy hauler,pretty sure the 800 will fit in most of them.

I had a bumper pull toy hauler and wouldn't go that route again. Sold it because the ranger crew wouldn't fit in the garage, found a similar model that would accommodate it but decided to go with a camper and just pull the toys behind. Found we could get into more camping spots and it was a lot less maintenance. Storage was easier and it actually accommodates the family of 5 better. Just a thought but its much cheaper to get a truck camper and pull a utility trailer for when you bring the toys.

We did something similar as well, toy hauler wasn't going to work for us and was $30-50k (bought new) more than the trailers we wanted. We wound up with a 33ft fifth wheel so I can tow my boat or rzr behind and if headed to BC we can just use both trucks to tow. We find it far more flexible for what we do, and we don't have fuel in our camping unit, nor the mess or half-usable space in a garage. The big bonus is we can camp in a provincial park and then tow the utility trailer and rzr down the road to a staging area to offload without bringing the camping unit.
Thanks for the replies. I never thought about towing tandem, I'm not really sure I want a 5th wheel but I'm open to options. Any thoughts on my second question? Has anybody changed furniture in a RV? One thing we don't like about most toy haulers is the long couch and no eating table. Our travel trailer we have now has a u shaped dinette and a 2 seat sofa, we would like to have this set up in a toy hauler.

I've got a 2012 Forest River xlr 27hfs - look at Google pics of it - they have a decent floor plan - I towed it with a featherweight Ecoboost - had equalizer hitch and the princess Auto sway control bar - worked great - pulled it through some sketchy sh*t in the winter too

If you have your heart set on it look at the jayco line. Well built but heavy. I had a 10ft garage that had fold away couch and fold away kitchen table. Tie down in the floor with the rino cover anti slip stuff. Going tandem will also keep you confined to Alberta. Our biggest thing is when we got rid of the toy hauler is how much time do you actually spend in the trailer? Since the whole point was to be outside why get picky about the couch or the table?
Ask yourself what are you going to be using it for? These things now quickly become very expensive just to go camping.
