I'm planning on building a 30x80 shop. Most likely ordering from artspan. Their shops are made with steel frame and insulated panels. Has anyone built this type of structure? Would you do it again? Also looking for recommendations for a company to do the foundation and septic. Hoping it can be tied into my current septic system but the elevation is about 10' lower, (located in parkland county)

You should inquire on a construction forum. There are many pole barn shop builders in Alberta. You will probably get very quick answers there. I think there are 5 or 6 builders in the foothills area alone, near Okotoks.

I'm currently working with Integrity. Going to build this hopefully in the spring. Sell the house, buy a camper and an acreage and finish the inside myself. Gonna be a busy summer if all goes well.

I was quoted around 100g from ufa but did not include concrete or insulation. Similar cost for the artspan but the panels are insulated. Both would probably be 200 once completed

That seems to be the norm. Anything they get involved with they are going to want to make some points. Cheaper to find your own concrete and insulation

2x8 timbers sheeted in and out and call it good...

Quick easy simple and fast...

Big door big stuff,,, small door small stuff,,, add 2 walk in doors,,, a few windows,,, moisture fan heat and power and move in...

A nice couch for the dog too sleep on and a fluffy carpet for you too curl up in on the floor...

Once you move in it will be easy too build the man cave...

All you'll need is a ford 1/2 with 2 sleds on a aluminum deck,,, you'll be styling and the chicks will think your sexy...

Just saying is all...
