Hello! My KEBC actuator has failed on my 05 Brute Force 750. I looked into buying a new one but they want over $200 for new and around $150 for used. I have done alot of looking on the web for rebuilding this acuator and have discovered that it has two major components 1 the small motor that spins the actuator and 2 a small potentiometer that sends a signal to the ECM to tell posistion. I am sure that my potentiometer is bad after trouble shooting thru the Kawi service manual.

I have contacted the the company that makes the potentiometer TOCOS but they are not interested in selling me small qty's, plus the potentiometer is an OEM part for Kawi. I read on mud in my blood of someone buying a cheaper potentiometer from a Newark or a place like that but had to do mods to the potentiometer and to the housing to make it work.

Has anyone found a replacement that will directly replace the OEM TACOS unit?

Thanks

Try putting a call out for one on the brute force or teryx forums, guys that put a clutch cap on for more top speed have to disconnect the kebc and some remove it completely and put a cover over the hole.
