Brute Force 750 backfiring

i hav a 2007 750 brute force carbed,snorkled,when i go through water (not crazy deep)if it splashes up or i wash it ,it backfires and has no power until it dries out.I greased the plugs ,glued wires but still no luck,runs awsome if u stay out of the water. Any suggestions ?

Carb to head boots cracked ??


The white plastic carb vent. Is it still open ??


Cause it will suck water in.
