It would be one thing if the company was on the verge of bankruptcy and just barely scraping by. But they've experienced record profits as of late and still did this.

So their products are being assembled by underpaid mexicans? Product integrity is therefore garbage. But we see that every day on the hill.

Worst part of the story is that Quebec will make money (a fawk ton) on the fines but they will never need to to make the workers whole on the pay shortage.

Ya well I'm sure plenty on here will continue to get their arses greased by BRP, I guess after a few pokes in the bumb their arses get numb, add the Doolaid and their lifers.

Yes but those products aren't produced in Canada.
Regardless of where a person is from, if they work in Canada there is labour laws that companies here have to abide to.
By your reasoning no country would have a minimum wage because where you are born determines your minimum wage no matter where you work
It doesn't hurt my feelings. Not a big fan of foreign workers coming to Canada. No Frenchy would work that cheap.
These guys will come work for nothing. Its there own fault. And they drive the wages down for everyone else.
Won't be getting rid of my sleds or seadoo's thats forsure,....

I agree about people coming here taking jobs is BS, but that's the point of bringing them here for companies like BRP

There is wake of destruction behind that company especially in manufacturing, not sure if it is a Quebec or French thing. They strive to bankrupt suppliers. As far as employees they don't want people that are too smart & can think for themselves, if they do make a mistake they don't last long. Should that be the individual or company choice.
I'm good with the products, how they treat suppliers, competitors, aftermarket & people is something else.
