You are correct Sean. At the start back in the day they would put you up in a nice hotel, feed and wine and dine you and all you were responsible for was your fights. Now the dealer pretty much pays for everything with the exception of a couple meals and a couple free beers (if you drink fast enough) at the unveil. Its expensive now to go to a show.

Is it a requirement for dealers to go to the the unveiling (or at least send one person as a rep)?

I think you get some extra points for your certification level or at least it was 2 years ago. Some dealers don't go because they are to busy or its to expensive though.

Still say a complete waste of money and then we wonder why sleds are up to $20000 plus .
Has to come from someplace .
They have the ATV / UTV in Europe ? Lol

I'll bet anything it was cheaper for them to have it in Mexico than anywhere in Canada or the US. Even if it wasn't, who cares? Are these companies not allowed to look after their dealers a bit?

With how expensive shipping is, would it really cost more. Try sending something from your town, to almost anywhere overseas, and be ready for sticker shock.

Im in Mazatlan right now, if you need something shipped in or out DHL is your only option and expect it to take at least a month, and that would be fast. The friends I'm staying with winter here and she's been waiting for 7 weeks now on an Amazon order. Nothing happens fast here. Mexican time....
