BRP (Ski-Doo) is offering a FREE 3 hour avalanche seminar at Glacier House Resort on Thursday, November 18 starting at 7 p.m. going to 10 p.m.
If you are thinking of attending, can you let Ron know so he can pass this onto BRP so they know how many to expect.

-provide participants with an opportunity to see and handle various products currently available to help improve avalanche safety and/or awareness.
-provide enough information to be of value and increase awareness, while at the same time enticing them to take a structured course, starting with the AST 1 course.
-achieve items 1 though 3 in a positive , dynamic and interactive way to maintain participant interest and increase level of retained knowledge.
-12 minute video; snowmobile specific avalanche activity.
-avalanche safety toolkit: discussion on CAC resources, a persons training, knowledge, equipment and observation skills.
-discussion of the CAC public awareness bulletins and special public avalanche warnings.
