BRP is a Quebec based company, they can get away with murder, if BRP wanted the land your house is on to build a plant they'd have it and you'd be homeless.

Does anyone else remember all the environmental hoops Quebec had to jump through to build that new cement plant? Me neither, because there was no consultation, no red tape, hell the government even invested in it and gave it loans.

Maybe BRP is doing this in the hope that they will get a bunch of tax-payer dollars to keep jobs in Canada. Just like their "not related" cousin company Bombardier does.

Do ur own due dilligence- BRP Rec products analysts are forecasting +200. Its a well structured company bringing in big money. Hot stock- with an attractive PE ratio.

Mexico is a great move! What better way to increase productivity and decrease cost. Let’s face it Frenchys r lazy!

For f’sakes-not another one of these posts...bombardier has nothing to do with BRP. Wake the f-up.

This is 1000% correct.
Bombardier gets regular bailouts so that top brass bonuses are not affected.
BRP are bailing out on Canada and heading to Mexico for cheap labor.

Two totally different types of bailouts by two unrelated companies.

But BRP has a different name so you know it has different owners!

Had bombardier stocks years ago when it was still one entity, then the rec division (brp) split off into a separate company and I got burnt hard. Lol

BRP builds their OHVs in Mexico. BRP wants to build more so they build a bigger plant. What the f*ck does this have to do with Canada at all?

Less jobs in Canada.
Not buying a Canadian product any more.
There is nothing positive about taking businesses out of country.
Do people really have to ask why?
Yikes

I am certain BRP will be dropping the price of their non Canadian built OHV to pass along their cheaper built Mexican product.

They both have the same chairman of the board so yeah nothing to do with one another.
No they don't.

Pierre Beaudoin is the chairman of the board of Bombardier, but is only a director of BRP. Now, before you argue it doesn't make a difference, yes it does if you understand boards at all.
