Broken FRH footwell brace?

Maybe i have a pair of duds, but on both the XM's in my garage, the weld on the right side loop over the footwell (that supports the running board) is broke right where it meets the tunnel under the oil reservoir. Just me? or are more starting to tear away?

Hmm haven't seen it on any of ours in my group...doubt yours are duds though.. Lots of miles on them?

1200 on one and less on the other (no cluster)
The second one wasn't torn right off, just starting; but when i had it off to put on the other sled, i saw the tear...:/
Ah well, i'll get it welded tomorro..

Had this problem on my xmx last year. It was a gong show to get a new one and then have to get it powder coated because they only come raw. So I said fawk it and welded it. Never had a problem after.
