Broken Console with Knee

How many guys have put their knee through the console? I barely even hit mine in warm weather and put a pretty good size crack into it. No warranty and a $170 replacement that I was told guys have done a lot. I know they wanted these sleds light but the material is way too thin. Dealer suggests I spend more money and put knee pads on the sled as well. Not my idea of a fix. Good thing zip ties are cheap.

Yup I put my knee through first time out. Was a relatively warm day as well, probably just freezing.
My dealer did warranty mine, not sure if Polaris did it or the dealer. I think the material is just too stiff, my old XM had way more flex, and went through way harder hits!
