As the title says, my buddy broke his carbon fibre frame piece. It's a 2015 Pro-RMK 155"
He didn't hit anything out of the ordinary, but we are thinking it snapped when his ski went 90 degrees up in hardpack Creek bed.
Think Polaris will cover it under warranty?

Hope my Axys holds up!

Polaris replaced mine on my 14 last year and it wasn't under warranty, although it took a little work. Take it to your dealer and make sure that it is stock, including the exhaust.

I'm not a big fan of all the carbon fibre, considering all it took to break my rear bumper was a cat walk in some hero snow

Check to see if the end came unglued. This was a problem on 14's, not sure about 15's. If the glue is gone it most likely was sitting in there loosey goosey and would break easily in that situation. I fixed mine myself with some polaris glue... (300$ for a tiny tube what a joke) but my buddy had to fight with his dealer to get his fixed.

Look around for a complete used assembly that was broken on one side. You can use a heat gun to remove the broken one and replace. The Polaris glue is from Lords so you can get it much cheaper than the from a dealer. Or you can replace with aluminum as some on here have done.

Talk to an autobody supply shop, they sell the Fusor glue which is made by lord but for commercial use. Buying the industrial lord is hard to get.

When i re-glued my chaincase backing plate i spoke with the canadian lord rep and he told me the fusor is identical to the stuff used by polaris but you can get it in different drying times and smaller tubes.

If i recall i used fusor 110/111B (110b is the larger tube, 111B is the smaller tube) which has a 5-8 minutes working time.

BTW, the '11 (and possibly 12) pro rmk's used a full aluminum overstructure.

Thanks for the info. I'll pass it on to my buddy. He decided to go to Germany for a couple weeks so I guess it's a summer project now.

Swapped mine with aluminum. Cost about $15. Don't regret it one bit.

Where did you pick up the aluminum tubing and what adhesive did you use?

Metal supermarkets. Instead of glue used two pop rivits on each tube where glue is incerted.
