Broke the grab bar on 2016 proclimb can I cut the rubber back and install a bar that bolts on

Try riding without it for a bit...they can be a bit of a handicap for some peoples riding style and performance. Some people end up grabbing it when having one hand on each end of the bar gives the proper amount of control for technical maneuvering...counter-steer and gas it.

Yes you can but the bolt on style, but as in the post above i would try to ride without it. it is a huge thing in the Burandts camps is a Zero mountain bar rule. Everything can be done with 100X more control with both hands on the grips. I have been riding without mine for the last 3 years and not a single day do i wish i still had it.

What he said, I cut mine off as soon as I get the sled home from the dealer

The new hard grab bars must be a pain. The old XP grab bar is soft so it doesn’t hurt on impact and moves as needed.

Do they really have any reasonable use aside from an extra grab point when rolling a sled over? Can’t imagine holding on to one for any other reason.
