This well known, well liked, friendly sledding advocate, promoter and supporter was seen enjoying and sharing the beautiness of Whistler spring sledding with his cool son.
This dynamic duo, equipped with special turbo equipped Yamaha Sidewinders awoke at 4am and commuted to the Sea to Sky corridor, Brandywine staging area. From there, seeking out and exploring ice caves on the Pemberton Ice fields was the goal of the day. Fresh snow was encountered, weather was 10/10 and visibility was unlimited. There should be sledding for 3 more weeks. 4 weeks for hardcore.

Climbmax would you mind to post some ice cave pics? It will help to share the beauty and promote sled tourism in the Whistler area! Thx!

Pic is not the ice fields, but a cool spot in the area.

haha funny....just saw this. Yes my Son and I had an awesome day on the Ice Cap. For anyone who has never ever experienced this amazing spot, you have to!! I told my son it was a must do for him as he just finished 4th year and now had time. I'll grab some pics and post them up soon. Access will be good for another 3-4 weeks im sure. Might have to go back!!
I knew you weren't in the group...….no Cats ;)

Interesting about exploring the ice caves. My fine wife and I took a tour with Chris Brown a few years back. Took some video/photos and made a cool little video of our trip out there. Lo' and behold, didn't I get a note to delete the ice caves from the video as we were not allowed to go there. Was it some particular ice caves or was it because we were with Chris??

It definitely was one of the highlights of my sledding days. If anybody gets a chance to go the Pemberton ice fields/glacier, jump at it with both feet. Absolutely amazing and can I say breath taking.

We had plans on riding the caps this April but Covid hit us and decided to cancel. Its been couple season now, i miss riding there definately one of my favorit.
Generally head for Brandywine, such a premium area for big turbo's.
