Puckboard is okay when it's cold...it's more flexible than it is brittle. If you're going to screw it down, just make sure the holes are twice as big as the screws, and don't tighten them right down. It will expand and contract, and end up wrinkling if it's too tight. If you need some welding done, just stop by my shop in Rimbey on your way to Sylvan.

thankls for the offer man, but i have a mig at work and lots of time after work to work on it, but i may swing by some friday afternoon or monday mornin and grab a few strips of puck board...:d

I paid a lot of money for an Full Lotus Quicky loader that looks no better and probably doesn't work any better. With a little tweaking you could make and sell these I'm thinking.

Is the FL craftsmanship not up to par or what, I was thinkin of one of there decks nxt yr

awesome! and for free how can you beat it. I want to build one now. Do you have a pic of the platform without the sled on it?

no in the truck but i here is some of it on the ground

chitty pic but i sprayed it with box liner, lifted it about 1" for better clearance for the ramp and drilled out 2 holes in the deck and ramp to pin the ramp in when in transit.....works much better now. oh and also moved the upper rung of the ramp back about 6" so when the sled is loaded the track isnt sitting on the ramp making it hard as hell to get the ramp out of the lip it locks into......

Go to any shop that does spray in box liners and root around in their back yard. When you find a plastic, slip in box liner that is being thrown out, take it home and rip it into strips with a skill saw that are as wide as your ramps and screw it down..Works good, cheap, and the carbides never touch the bottom.
