Well the old Turbo m1000 goes in for the Boost-it Box. Pretty excitied to see how it works. Sick of always playing with the dam pureoligic box. Should make it alot funner to ride.
I was looking into this as well...what turbo kit you running?
I want to try it on my twisted m8. Post your results when u try it

Hey nick. Pm "smokindave" on here. He has 2-3 twisted m1000's all with the boost it fuel controller. He lives and dies by them. He can tell u all u need to know.
Yes he does, i drove a 600km rounder today to go see him as he is building me a 08 M1000 twisted turbo from the ground up right now. Wouldnt make much sense that he would build something that doesnt work over and over since he has two m1000 twisted turbos right now, a 4 stroke yammy turbo, and he is building himself another m1000 turbo lol guy loves them so much he needs on in each color, awesome guy to talk to with a lot of very valid points.
I was debating getting this for this season but I didn't see any on the cats, just yammi's so I held off but seeing how you guys say that daves sleds work really well I may end up trying it this season...if I don't try it on my twisted m8 maybe my room mate will on his twisted m1000...he has had nothing but issues with it. Maybe got a couple good hours on it last season out of 4 trips with it.
I heard Neil's box uses the same sensor as the dobeck boxesHis boost-it box for this year has a barametric sensor in it .ITs supposed to make it a set it and forget.
LOL...even if we did use the same map sensor as dobeck, that would have nothing to do with the software that we use to control our fueling.I heard Neil's box uses the same sensor as the dobeck boxes
Don't worry about it. I honestly do not know if our xic uses the same map sensor as dobeck does, but all a map sensor does is read pressure. It's all in our software that controls fueling. All of our software is written by our engineer, who has been turboing fuel injected engines for 30 years...so I think he knows a thing or two about fuel injection.Didn't know the Dobeck box uses the same sensor. I hope not cause mine sure didn't work right
never said anything about your software just asked about the sensor. A little touchy are weLOL...even if we did use the same map sensor as dobeck, that would have nothing to do with the software that we use to control our fueling.
We have added a new sensor for the cats and etechs this yr so fuel start time is absolutely consistent regardless of elevation. It will eliminate the lean or rich bog when boost comes on.
Nice try though.
Nope not touchy at all, just kind of looked like you were leading.never said anything about your software just asked about the sensor. A little touchy are we
