Boondocker on 16XM Questions

Looking for a bit of help to get my fuel mapping right for low elevation (1,000-5,000’) Sled runs really well and sounds good but according to my AFR gauge it runs lean under about 7000rpm. Seems like once it’s making boost (Over that 7000) it’s in the 11-13 range.
I have adjusted the fuel up on the controller a bit but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Not sure how much to adjust at a time. I am running it on 90-100% AV gas for lower elevation.
Is it possible it’s just my gauge? Need a new sensor? Is it dangerous for the engine to go lean under light loads? I was in chetwynd and even up to 5-6000ft it ran the same as it does at home at 1200ft.

No expert but how much boost are you running and are you turning it down at lower elevation.Lean is bad at any elevation.

Running 5lbs. Don’t have any other springs and unless I missed something when I was talking to boondocker that’s as low as I can go.
Figure someone must have fuel mapping they can share to at least get me closer.

I’m about too put a 3 pound spring in mine but mines not a boondocker.

I could very well be wrong here but I'm pretty sure AFR is only really accurate at full throttle. If you were really concerned, maybe get pyro/egt gauges.

afr's on an etec only matter at wide open throttle - they run lean in between idle and wot - 12.5 is a happy number at 7900-8000

In the Boondocker website, they post the recommended starting numbers for your sled.
