welcome to the site. Once a couple of weekends back it was really cold on our ride like -21 and somehow I dropped a "boog" on my gas tank but I wiped it off quickly as not to let it freeze....not really but my sled did bog a little at half throttle but only for 1-2 km then it just went away and I haven't had that happen since I think it might of had a little gas freeze problem. I was told to just pretend my new sled does not have carb heaters because once you start using them you will have inconsistant carb operation but I don't know enough about it to be honest.

Used to use my carb heaters all the time when riding in powder on cold days, just make sure you run the sled for a couple of minutes with the heaters off before shutting the motor off. Boils fuel out of the carbs if you don't cool them off and then you better have buddies to take turns pulling or start priming it.It seemed to have slightly less power with the heaters on but ran fine.
