Looking to get a bit more reliable hp out of my T3.

Has anyone tried the Bikeman E-tec 800 Bolt-on kit?

Any other suggestions?
Not interested in a turbo, as I want to use pump gas and go.

I don't think there is to much bolt on left for that motor till you get into BB. Pipe and stuff is a lot of money for a few hp. As for the bikeman kit I think Maxwell ride a sled with it and said it works good.

Linderman porting is an honest 13hp with y pipe. I run a 868 big bore with full pipe and it rips. But I spent a lot of money for 30 hp

He talks sleds all day. I'm sure he'd wecome your questions. are you pulling the cylinders and shipping them? What about head work? Compression ect. Do you want a shop locally to take it apart and ship them ? How about taking the sled to him and he does it all start to finish? That's why calling him is a good idea. Then you can post the price. My friend has a t3 there right now for porting and Linderman is doing all the disassembly also. When he picks it up I can ask him how much

why would you void your warranty. at least if you have bolt ons you can take them off and return the sled to stock.

Dont waste your time or money. If you want power, install turbo, it you want reliable ... stay stock. Otherwise waste of time and money iMO.

That at being said i have a set of 800 etec Boyeson rage cages for sale. Good for 3 hp. Lol. $100.

not picking on anyone in here but anyone who says "save your money, not worth it" obviously hasn't tried. is there power to be had, yup... increasing the efficiency of the driveline also pays back big. do this all at once and you will notice large gains.

Oler, when you say increasing the efficiency of the driveline you would do this with clutching and gearing or maybe a belt drive? and what would you suggest on a N/A setup for a bit more power?

Oler has the coolest chain set up! I wish I could find the thread that had the picture of it.

chaincase.jpg this picture? HAH, just finished working on a T3 that looks exactly like this! but your right, I am not necessarily going to tell you how I do it, trade secrets right? but its not complicated. clutching is a big one, keeping them efficient and cool. But the biggest is reducing rotating weight, reducing friction, reducing parasitic load on the engine, these are all things to keep in mind when looking at it. i have gone as far as weighing different drive belt and measuring the durometer of rubber utilized. call me a nut if you want. doing just one thing, you will notice nothing. Doing a lot of a little will yield large gains. right now I am pull steady 51-53mph track speeds at elevation in 3ft of pow. this year I think I will top it out at 55mph. The big bore in our group is definitely questioning his purchase :d

The T3 looks pretty close to this, will run without the tensioner. That big bore will be a little different this season I suspect. Hopefully, so will that T3 when we are done with it.
