Broke wires on both boots. Used tape rest of season. Not impressed.

My grandpa wears Velcro. Like someone said if you break the cable your hooped, if you break a lace you can at least tie them together and keep on trucking.

You can tie the cable together also. I had one end of the cable come out of the winder one year and didn't have the tool to fix it with me. I tied the end back to the boot and kept on trucking

whats a replacement cable worth? shoe laces really haven't gone up too much in price the last few years.

I love how easy this system makes it to kick off your boots to run into the house when you forget something.... With my Klim boots once they were on they were on for the day.
