Tippy Toeing around in Groundhog west yesterday.
The snow pack has firmed up now creating a nice base, but still not worth a long drive until we get a pile of fresh snow.

Snow in the forecast this weekend.

Here is a clip from groundhog when I was up there on the weekend of the 16th! There wasn't much of a base but lots of powder! Had a few sleds get some bent up parts but that's the chance you take going early!

Rain/Snow all weekend, woke up to another 4.5 inches this morning with 35 km's winds gusting to 55 km's.

Broke trail into foam November 30 went all the way into top of cut block in turned around. Huge logs blocking trail way to skinny on snow. Short about 5-6 feet. Rode back down went to groundhog made a day of it. Socked in whole time but fun to get out. We left from the parking lot at the summit as the bridge is not in due to low snow.
