Does anyone know how much snow is in Blue River. My husband and I plan to go next week. Thanks, also best place to stay in Blue River.

Rode Salmon yesterday, only three other guys out there so we had the place to ourselves. About three feet of heavy powder in the unridden areas. Snow was a little more settled today, but still awesome. About 2 ft up high and better in the trees. One of the best rides this season.

You bet, j.c. ! My dealer had my sled ready by the time I was on days off again, so I didn't miss any riding. This trip was definitely the best of the season so far.

The staging area for Salmon & Ground Hog (Compressor Station), about a couple km back towards Blue River heading north I seen a road on the right hand side. Iirc I seen a yellow sign I would assume for some type of forrest protection sign or OHV? But seen lots of tracks going up it.... Anyone know the road I'm talking about?

The boys hit the hill today after yesterdays storm!!!!!!!
4 inches in town, and 4 feet up top. They road BIG BLUE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We bring our friends so they can bury there sleds in over 4 feet of snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And, guess what...........they didn't track it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ground Hog is a managed area for the Ble River Powder Packers. If you try to get around it, that will be sad for everyone.
When the CO's find you up there without a trail pass, that means you could get a ticket and the club gets in trouble.
Just so you know.

The road your talking about is the Foam Creek Forest Service Road.
The guys that use it are the ones that don't want to make a donation at the Finn Creek Parking lot.

Planning on riding parbarry for the first time Saturday or Blue in general for the first time. Does the club collect trail fees at the entrance? Or do you need to pick them up from in town? Going to be traveling down from Valemount. Thanks

This is the access to Big Blue and The Holy Grail! Yes there are regular Storm Snow slides in this valley and later in the year larger Snow load and solar activated slides. you must keep your head up and use caution! Yes we did wear out a shovel and all our spare fuel!
