We are heading there tomorrow. Rode Saturday Sunday Monday. We will find snow on the bike I’m sure. And it’s supposed to snow the whole time we are there.

How was the weekend? Forecast looks like a good reset for this week…

A group of 6 of us are coming this Friday - Sunday and this will all be our first trip to Blue River. Our group are all moderate to advanced in ability and we usually sled Valemount or McBride. Any advice as to which locations make sense? Have looked on the sledblueriver website and have some general understanding. Basically, we don't want to bite of more than we can chew but also don't have any issues with any of the areas in Valemount/McBride. Any insights would be appreciated.

Also, was wondering if there was any set grooming schedule for the Blue River area? Is it posted anywhere online? Would prefer not to have to pound for too long on ungroomed trails if possible.

For groomed trail riding, I believe you need to leave from the Finn Creek staging area south of town. Groundhog east/west might be your best bet for a decent trail.... Salmon lake is a long one.... I havent rode Redsands, not sure on the trail.

Finger bowls and White river are relatively short and groomed for a good portion.
