Blindman River Launch

Is there anyplace to launch into the blindman River around Red Deer other then the park south of Blackfalds on Hwy 2a? That park is still closed as of yesterday. As Catalac said not for the faint of heart to come off the Red Deer River and into it. Some pretty big slabs of rock have slid off the bank into the river, around the first bend. Everything else between Red Deer and Bentley looks to be private land.

you can get to the river on brennan road first right on the burbank road from 597 2 minute walk to the river from the end of the road at the red posts
you could probably also walk down to the river from the first road west of the industrial parks on aspluend road there is a private bridge over the river ( same road as spirit creek golf course)
