So i just put a different engine in my boys 06 rev. How can I be sure that it is getting oil? I can see air bubbles moving through one of the small lines coming from the pump. Is it safe to say it isn't air locked?
Thanks

#1 - mix first tank 50:1
#2 - adjust the oil pump per the spec or if it was ok before you installed the new engine leave the existing calibration.
#3 - hold the oil pump WIDE open with a cloths hanger or something while the engine is running. hold it open for about ten minutes.this will ensure no air bubbles and the extra smoke should verify its operation.

monitor the oil consumption on the first tank and if its about 7-800ml on the first tank consumed its safe to run your normal fuel.

Thanks guys. Judging buy the amount of smoke I think it is good to go. Just to be safe I had the boy throw the rest of his dirt bike fuel in there. Just need some f thw white stuff so I can take her for a rip. Will have to knock the kd out before I leave to keep him off it I am sure.
