The tethering I was a bit disappointed with. You use to be able to check your emails(you can set the Playbook up with an email account so not a big deal with the email),BBM, texts etc. when you tethered now you cant. Not sure why they removed this....But any doc on your phone can be sent to the playbook via Blue tooth so that is a nice feature. The Z10 has the same "print to go" feature as the Playbook. Install the Print to go on your PC and select ANY file you want to print but instead of printing it to your regular printer select Print To Go. It will send the file via Wi-Fi to your Z10 device, playbook device or both if you choose. A very nice feature for flight itineraries or any document you may want to have with you without the need to email it to yourself.
The old BlackBerry desktop is now not used for syncing your cell to PC but anew program called BlackBerry Link is used. It is very easy to use and transferring my files from my old BB Cell to the new Z10 was seamless. However! The turkeys left one important feature out and that is you now cant sync your Outlook contacts or calendar anymore. There is a work around the same as you would need to do with IPhone (cloud type set up) I did it and it seems to be working but BB what the hell were you thinking getting rid of such an important option. I'm reading this will be addresses in a future update so crossing my fingers.
Not sure what you are using now but the Z10 is simply amazing with the keyboard and how intuitive it is. IT IS A BUISNESS PHONE! It has Documents To Go built right in now (It’s not an app anymore) that does sync when you plug into a PC. I have a pile of spread sheets I use and update often on jobs.

SOOOO easy to use once you get a hang of the gesturing , and you will catch on very quickly as you have the playbook.
I would reconsider using a IPhones for business. Just the transferring of files alone is worth going to BlackBerry. Can you even sync a IPhone with a PC. I don’t think you can…
