have an o7 M1000, runs great usually. last trip after a run it started surging and dying on idle, but not stalling, seems it would catch again just before it died, surge up to about 3000, die, the catch again. Did this about 4 times. had been blasting side to side in deep before it happened. seems if i stopped it and started, would settle out and idle properly. ran good for most of the day, was just paranoid it was gonna stop and not start again. any ideas?

Thanks. heard of guys running a delete to avoid problems on the trail. Linderman sells one for about 20$ think I'll pick one up.

Do you have any mods ? I ran for 2 months with no pirometer . It never did that . If you want a new one ,2011 duramax its 1/4 the price . Just cut the old plug off and solder the wires together . Once you extend the wires the sensors seem to las forever . My sled did similar things i found 6 bared wires in my boondocker harness

I never got any codes until it finally went, it still never left me stranded but limited my sled to 7400-7500 rpm the whole way back
