whats a good compression ratio for a billet head on pump gas.

It will depend on the altitude you ride at. You can run more compression at 10000 feet with no detonation. The same compression at 1000 feet will kill the engine.

maybe 2-3 times a season might get to Val or Revy. Mostly around home. Whats the elevation here 2500 ft?
