LOL.. nah, we will take our own trailer.. but thanks for offering on Tex's side.. I'm sure he appreciates that. So we took a drive out there on Saturday, we were pretty happy when we realized its the area that we stopped for the mid trail lunch at the Jamboree's.. we love this area! And it was funny because on the way down we were talking about how we saw random campers in this area when we were riding through on the jamboree and thought about how it woudl be nice to figure out where the hell that place was, only as we drive up to it haha. So yeah, place looks pretty big, I'm obviously not counting on getting some of the real good wide open spots, like the spot at the blue bridge, or in those first spots driving in, but I don't think it will be a problem finding something. We might even have to make our own spot and cut down a few dying or dead trees if need be. Our trailer isn't huge, and it will fit in some of the places most of the big rigs wont. The other trailer that supposed to be in our group is an R-pod, that thing would fit in the back of my truck lol. So we will just hope for the best.

I know this area is decent for biking, we were there, its wet but I'd rather ride that then sand.

Haha thanks. We will get what we can get I suppose. Our plan is just to go as far down the road as possible when we pull in, most people probably drive in and take the close spots first ( I would assume ). We didn't get the chance to drive across the little blue bridge, but it looks like there some spots to squat out there too.

Anyways, thanks for the little help and info. I appreciate it. I'm going out on a limb here and assuming you will be a part of the group occupying that big spot beside the bridge? If so, I will try to come and hunt you down and stop by to say hi. That spot was chitpacked this weekend. Looks like people just live out there haha.

good god tex, there is nothing normal about where you go!!!!!!

Haha, sounds like we probably can forget about venturing that way. Atleast I know there's more space available across that bridge. We didn't drive down that way, I'm assuming this hill you speak of is where you can get the nearest cell phone reception if needed? lol.

K thanks. Do you also ever have problems out there cutting down dead wood for firewood? I stocked up on a truckload in Nordegg that my Dad had just chopped down on the weekend but i'm afraid that would last a night at best. lol

Use downed and dead wood as fuel for your fire. Remember: you require a permit to cut live vegetation for fire wood. Contact your local SRD office for details.
