So since KTM isn't able to make it... I guess we may need more of a spread as far as lunch is concerned...

I'm so sorry ladies.... Because of me now having to work 12 hours on saturday, Amber and i wont be able to make it. She was down for meeting everyone and workin with Momma, but she insisted i be there. although we wont be able to help with the shoot, I'm possitive we will be out to ride with you folks every chance we can get.

I wouldn't worry too much, these things happen... there may not be as many of us but it is still a pretty good opportunity to get out and meet everyone (for those of us who haven't met the "crew"), and a few shots is better then none I guess?

Yeah I tried.. I even offered for her to come a long with us so she don't gotta go alone..ahwell I guess she'll have to show off that very "different" looking lime green KTM another day!

We may not bite.. I dunno about Mamma on the other hand though..I think i'd be a little timid going without my man too... hehe

I'm trying to recruit some people..not sure how it will play out but common surely there's gotta be other ladies out there wanting to come....mind you probably wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't so many that Mamma didn't know what to do with?

It's really too bad that you can't make it. Work is work though, and until the biking sponsorship comes through, that's life!! We will be filming and playing all summer and I will make sure that you get the 'heads up' whenever we have something planned.

Amber is totally welcome to come with us on her own. I totally understand her nerves, as I just went through the same thing when I went on my first 'solo' sled trip. But really, it is something every girl needs to try! It sure creates an appreciation for our significant others and all the little things they do and know to make those trips happen. Plus, we learn how to be more vigilant with our machines and making sure it keeps on ticking. Just my opinion, but once she got out here, she would be fine. There will be some 'boys' along for a security blanket and sweeper duties...

Ummm so the forecast has obviously taken a turn for the worst...suppose to be below 0 and snowing in Drayton tommorow now... road conditions sound pretty horrific by the sounds of it..is this thing still going to be a go er what? Can we somehow reschedule the photo shoot....?? I know its pretty time sensitive with the bettie crew and your sled trip this weekend but I'm just curious because the weather is definitely going to shape up after this chitty ass looking weekend..

I don't have to drive anywhere so I'm not concerned with road conditions. With the temperature being up around +4 today anything that is on the road now will probably disappear today. I'm also not too terribly concerned with the cold temperatures for staying warm as we can dress for it and also we really do not have to get too far away from the house so if we do get cold we can warm up.

Yeah, I guess I'm just worried about getting up really early and drive all the way out there to find the conditions brutal, especially with the high chance of flurries..being chilly doesn't bother me so much cuz yes we can stay warm..its just the overall "conditions" that may affect the photoshoot but I mean if Mamma can work with it..then so be it .. I guess if everyone else is still down I am too...but I can't ride in snow so it depends on that as well.. I dunno what is everyone else think?

Road conditions could get better today but could be all hell again early tommorow morning or tonight..maybe we All meet on here tommorow early morning or late tonight and decide? lol I dunno, I guess it's Mamma's call really.. she's the boss and she'll know if we can still get some good shots in chitty weather or not..?

Alright, well I guess i'm just gonna have to evaluate the conditions tommorow morning. Its calling for %60 chance of flurries in Drayton area and here in Edmonton too and not sure about the wind factor yet but sorry ladies it's just a lot more difficult to ride a bike in those kind of conditions. I hope I don't have to bail due to the weather but it will depend on the road conditions for us as well. Weather is EXTREMELY nasty here right now and I can't see it getting any better by tonight. Skinny, is there a way maybe you could text me in the AM if I PM my number to you and just give me an idea of what the weather/conditions are lookin like in your area tommorow morning?

It is sunny out here now. Pavement is also dry. That doesn't mean that it won't change in the morning!
PM away LD and I can keep you updated. We also don't have to do a lot of trail riding (or any for that matter if you don't want to) to get to some areas that OK5 and I had kinda picked out for getting some shots!
